GOBOAT

Discover GoBoat and learn about their mission to bring sustainable boating to Australian waterways.

GoBoat offers a unique, eco-friendly way to explore Sydney and beyond, with self-drive picnic boats that require no licence and are powered by quiet, fume-free electric motors. Crafted with sustainability in mind, the boats feature picnic tables made from recycled timber and are designed to create a minimal environmental footprint.

Since launching in Canberra in 2017, GoBoat has grown to a fleet of over 70 boats across five cities, welcoming more than 500,000 guests onboard.

Visit the GoBoat showcase at Darling Harbour to find out how you can enjoy an unforgettable day on the water, connect with their environmentally-friendly ethos, and explore the future of sustainable boating.

LISA BLAIR

Lisa Blair is an Australian adventurer, author, and world-record-holding solo sailor. She is the fastest person to sail solo, non-stop, and unassisted around Antarctica, shaving 10 days off the previous record in 2022. Aboard her yacht Climate Action Now, Lisa champions sustainability, collaborating with scientific organisations to collect vital ocean data and raise awareness of climate issues.

With over 110,000 nautical miles sailed, Lisa also holds records for solo circumnavigations of Australia and New Zealand. She led the first all-female team in 16 years to compete in the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and continues to inspire through her writing (Facing Fear) and work as the Boating Industry Association’s Sustainability Ambassador.

Lisa will be showcasing her yacht and advocating for climate action at the Darling Harbour weekend as part of the BIA Sustainable Boating Showcase, sharing her mission to protect our oceans and drive meaningful change.
